Almost 4 Million Homes in USA Face Foreclosure in 2009

Realtytrac  reported that home foreclosures in the United States decreased by 15% in November, 2009, from a peak in July, 2009. The number of home foreclosures in the United States  is expected to increase to a record 3.9 million in 2009.

 

According to Zillow.com, homes in the United States have lost approximately US$5.9-trillion in value since March, 2006. Metropolitan areas in California and Florida reported nine of the 10 biggest losses during the same period.
